Tulips

Tulips are up!  Better late than never.

Planted for the Holland 3437 Gardeners!

Tulips are native to Central Asia but many bulb flowers are now, developed and  exported from Holland.

Compost Delivery

We heard from the city of Minneapolis and our compost is going to be delivered Saturday, May 13th  from 8 am to 1 pm!

I will post on blog when the delivery has happened! Hope this day is open for you to be a little flexible with time! I work until 1 pm and then I'll be in the garden nurturing our soil with the compost!

Spring Warm Saturday!

I will be heading to the garden soon here to do some spring cleaning before the May Day celebration next Sunday in Powderhorn Park!

Hello everyone!

It's year 8 of the 3437 Community Garden!  An active gardener, Vienna made this happen in 2010! She has moved on continuing to follow her dreams but a big thank you to Vienna! 

This is the place we will post information about the garden. If you have any questions or concerns please email: 3437garden@gmail.com. Welcome and welcome back!

Please help spread the word about the garden we have some plots that are still available!

Our garden is organic- so no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers, etc.
Plots are 12' x 4'. your fee of $20 goes into the garden, all people involved are volunteers. The fee includes water, compost, access to tools and amazing opportunities to connect with your growing neighbors!

Compost dates

We order 5 yards of compost from the city again this year!

The day and time of delivery is unknown but we know it will be deliverd on one of these days between 8 am to 1pm.

 May 3rd, Saturday
May 13th, Saturday
May 20th, Saturday

When we get more information from the city it will be posted on the blog.
We will be placed compost in every plot.
