April 28th Welcome Meeting Recap #UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR MAY

Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the first meeting a great success!


We accomplished several things at the meeting--if you were unable to attend or want to learn more, post questions and comments here or feel free email garden contact!
  • We learned some background on the garden, met our gardening community, and asssigned plots, and created a phone and email list. We won't flood your inbox with requests and reminders, so stay tuned here.
    • Use this space to post comments, questions, resources, and photos.
    • If it is more your style, check out the 3437 Garden Facebook page and use that space.
  • We asked each member to show up for TWO work days each month for TWO hours each. These will be held every other Wednesday and Saturday. However, we have a lot of work to do in May, so folks will be there every Wednesday and Saturday until June.
    • The Garden Work Day Schedule is as Follows: 
        • Wednsdays from 4 pm to 8 pm
        • Saturdays from 9 am to Noon

    Along those lines, I think the days are a little off in June, I think of you just flip the "Wednesdays" and "Saturdays" it works out.

    PLEASE NOTICE I JUST UPDATED THE SATURDAY WORK SCHEDULE FOR MAY. FOLKS ARE WELCOME TO COORDINATE THESE AS COMMUNITY WORKD DAYS, BUT AS OF NOW THERE ISN'T A COORDINATOR SET FOR THESE DAYS

    AND THANKS FOR NOTICING THE DATES IN JUNE ;0. I'LL MAKE THAT CHANGE.
